Holiday 2006
Win-terrific!
As winter begins to take hold, it’s important that we do our best to stay connected. Many organizations are especially active during winter months planning events and holding functions and fundraisers that depend on our support.
I encourage you to seek out and attend an event of personal interest. Go to a concert at the auditorium, enjoy the Symphony Ball, take a ski or snowboard lesson, go to a Lakehead University hockey or basketball game, or walk through one of our picturesque wilderness trails. Trying something new is also a great way to help cure the winter doldrums!
Getting out and enjoying Thunder Bay and all that it offers is key to staying connected to a wonderful community of friends and acquaintances. You’ll also lend support and energize the efforts of those who work to host events that enrich the life of our city.
Involve yourself in our outdoor winter playground, and have a great holiday season!
