IN OUR OWN BACKYARD
Duluth, Minneapolis and Winnipeg make for quick summer getaways. But it’s amazing how much Thunder Bay has to offer and how easy it is to overlook some of the fantastic offerings from our own backyard that we can enjoy during the summer.
Why not try to search out something that you’ve never experienced before?
Tube down the Kam River, paddle boat or kayak at Boulevard Lake, go for a hike on one of the many Conservation Authority Trails, visit Centennial Park and Chippewa, or experience the breathtaking view from Kakabeka Falls, or Ouimet Canyon.
Enjoy a new experience and appreciate our wonderful playground that truly makes Thunder Bay one of the greatest places on the planet.
Not only will visiting these places be enjoyable for you and your family, but it will help you act as an ambassador to our city when guests arrive.
