Holiday 2008

As the holidays approach, I’m touched by our city’s generosity when called upon to assist local charities. After recently attending the Empty Bowls/Caring Hearts Dinner in support of the Thunder Bay Food Bank and Shelter House. I was impressed (but not surprised) by the commitment of the volunteers and the number of businesses and individuals who contributed to growing this annual event into the most successful one ever (see photos in centre).

I am happy to share some stories in this issue that celebrate many amazing people who enhance our quality of life and help move our city forward.

This issue marks our seventh year of publishing Bayview and I would like to thank everyone who has contributed and shared our vision in producing a magazine that celebrates our amazing city. I encourage you to support our advertisers who help make each issue possible.
On behalf of everyone at Bayview Magazine—have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
