Celebrating the unique tastes of the city

As summer draws to a close many former residents, relatives and friends make there way back to their homes away from Thunder Bay after spending part of their summer enjoying our great playground. But what always brings a smile to my face is seeing what they take back home. The airport scanners are abuzz with packages filled with local delights you just can’t find anywhere else. From coolers filled with sliders from McKellar Confectionary, to boxes of fresh Persians, who can resist bringing back and sharing the delicious treats and tastes unique to our city. Is it lunchtime yet?
