Holiday 2009
Welcome to that crazy time of year. As our social calendars start to fill, my level of anxiety moves to code red ā where did the year go anyway?
This is one of my favorite issues of the year ā a time when we have an opportunity to focus on some of the great people, groups and organizations that provide support for those less fortunate. Our city has so many positive signs of reinvention but I know some in our community are hurting during the transition. Writer Lisa Sandham offers some insight on the generosity of Canadians and how some local charities are trying to cope right now.
This issue also marks our eighth year of publishing Bayview and I would like to thank everyone who has contributed and shared our vision in producing a magazine that celebrates our fantastic city!
On behalf of everyone at Bayview Magazine - have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Dorothy Christie, Publisher
Iām always happy to hear from you at dorothyc@tbaytel.net.
