Summer 2009

My favorite time of year has finally arrived! It’s amazing how your state of mind changes during the summer months. I find myself waking up earlier, more rejuvenated to take on each day while still finding a second wind to keep going long into the evening hours.

But the one thing that strikes me about summer is how I have two types of friends, my winter friends and summer ones. The golf course, camp and even the restaurants I go to seem to be full of people I only see during the summer months. It’s as if everyone fell off the face of the earth in October not to be seen again until the snow melts.

No matter who you run into this summer, be sure to make some time to take in a performance at the marina, walk in the sand at the beach and admire all the beauty that is Thunder Bay.

We truly live in one of the most wonderful places on the planet.
