Does anyone eat at home anymore? Italian, Chinese… Syrian you say? Thunder Bay’s burgeoning restaurant scene offers hundreds of new choices.
As we swap our parkas for wind breakers and start to enjoy more outdoor pursuits these new places are ready to shine. The diversity of food is truly remarkable – most driven by a talented chef pursuing a dream.
Of course we have some restaurant traditions that have and will continue to stand the test of time – but many areas of the city, especially the downtown cores have evolved into food destinations.
No longer do we have to go across the border or fly to Toronto in search of variety – it’s all right here in our own back yard.
And that’s another great reason to love Thunder Bay!
