June 2026

At 15, Madisyn Hebert has one busy life. The St. Patrick’s High School student is
a competitive cheerleader, participates in local theater, draws and welds.
Madisyn was even a published illustrator of a children’s book at 11 years of age. She was lucky enough to be in the movie Ithaqua with Kevin Durand and Luke Hemsworth that was filmed in Thunder Bay, and most recently was
in a Bell Fibe commercial that appeared across numerous streaming platforms.
Last year, Madisyn attended the Regional Canada Pageant in Sudbury as Miss Teen Thunder Bay, where she was crowned the 2nd runner-up as well as receiving awards for friendship, interview, evening gown, pageant promotion and she
won the talent award for her age division.
In August, Madisyn will be representing Thunder Bay as Miss Teen Thunder Bay
at the Regional Canada Pageant in Toronto.
“As part of my delegate responsibilities,
I am using my platform to promote awareness of addiction and mental health and what it’s like living with a family member with these struggles”, says Madisyn. She volunteers with the DEK organization, and has spoken at various events to tell her story. “To be a successful pageant participant you need to be strong and confident when you are outside of your comfort zone and you need to be caring and kind to others”, says Madisyn.
Madisyn is currently organizing
a Karaoke Party fundraiser which
is being held on July 10 at Campfire Comedy from 6:30-9:00 pm to raise funds for Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto. “It’s an all ages party where you can sing, vibe and just have fun”, says Madisyn. There will be food from Eat Local pizza, snacks and drinks for purchase.
There will also be raffle prizes and
a door prize to be won. Tickets are
$10 and all money raised will be
donated to Sick Kids.
When asked about her future goals, Madisyn says she aspires to go to medical school to become an anesthesiologist or a pharmacy technician. She also hopes to
participate in more pageants in the
near future.
Training and the preliminaries for this year’s pageant will be held at the Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre with the final night and crowning taking place at the City Playhouse Theater.
Whatever the event outcome, Madisyn’s drive and ambition is inspiring to young and old alike.
