The dirt track season is underway every Wednesday evening at Thunder City Speedway.
Co-owner Louis Nadin has nothing but great things to say about the community support for racing. “It’s shaping up to be a really good year. The number of cars have increased to an average of 130 per week. We’re seeing at least 5 or 6 U.S. drivers competing weekly. And it’s really nice to see many of the young drivers moving up into the higher classes, improving the quality of racing”, says Nadin.
The track actively helps generate funds for local charities. Our Kids Count and Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding benefit from the 50/50 draws. And the Le Stelle Alpine Italian Dancers are also benefiting from some of the concession sales to help support their trips to perform
at dance events throughout Canada and the U.S.
