Spring is in the air

March 2019

There is nothing more uplifting than recognizing the sure signs of spring.

This winter seemed particularly brutal. Personally, I felt a little more trapped this winter but I’m mentally clinging to the signs of warmer weather, melting snow and the return to the ever so active wildlife that inhabits my back yard during the warmer months.

This issue, our contributors have done a tremendous job uncovering a treasure trove of interesting articles and stories that celebrate the joys of our Northern way of life including ambitious beekeepers, butterfly enthusiasts and those with a special passion for discovery in the outdoors.

I trust you’ll enjoy this issue as much as we did in putting it together. And as always, many thanks to our advertisers who make every issue possible.

Thanks be to Spring!

Sincerely,

Dorothy Christie, Publisher
