As winter starts to roll in, being able to embrace rather than fight it has always been something I’ve had to mentally work at. And I suspect many of you feel the same.
I do prefer a few good early snowfalls rather than having to endure a long drawn out period of cold weather without being able to enjoy all of the fluffy benefits. Downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, skating – whatever your passion, taking up one or several winter activities makes the season much more bearable and are what makes our northern way of life truly unique.
Enjoy the holiday season, and be sure to take in some of the many activities and local events that make it special.
